About Us

Our Food and Wine Journey

Our passion for food and wine is deeply rooted in the memories of meals shared with loved ones. It's about recreating those moments, those tastes, and those emotions. Each bite, each sip, transports us back to the warmth of family gatherings, the laughter of friends, and the joy of simple pleasures. It's a reminder that food and wine are more than just sustenance; they are the threads that weave together our most cherished experiences.

“Drinking wine was not a snobbism nor a sign of sophistication nor a cult; it was as natural as eating and to me as necessary...”

― Ernest Hemingway, A Moveable Feast

Now the long story...

A Journey Through Italy's Classical and Rediscovered Treasures

We're an Italian wine importer passionate about the soul of Italian viticulture,  witness to a remarkable renaissance in our wine traditions. While our collection honors the noble classical varieties that have defined Italian wine for centuries, we also celebrate the extraordinary recovery of ancient grape varieties that were nearly lost to time.

The Noble Classical Heritage

Our collection showcases Italy's most revered classical varieties:

  • Nebbiolo: The aristocratic grape of Piedmont, mentioned in royal documents dating to the 13th century, expressing the profound elegance that earned Barolo its crown as "Wine of Kings";
  • Sangiovese Grosso: The noble heart of Brunello di Montalcino, whose lineage traces back to the Etruscan civilization;
  • Corvina and Rondinella: The classical duo of Valpolicella, preserved through centuries of careful cultivation by Venetian nobility.

Rediscovered Indigenous Treasures

We take particular pride in featuring wines from recovered ancient varieties:

  • Timorasso: Piedmont's forgotten white wine jewel, rescued from near extinction in the 1980s, now producing some of Italy's most complex and age-worthy white wines;
  • Cesanese: The ancient grape of Lazio, once served at papal tables, rediscovered in the hills outside Rome and now restored to its former glory;
  • Raboso del Piave: Venice's historic grape, known as "vin da viajo" (travel wine) for its ability to survive long sea voyages, now restored to produce wines of distinctive character.

A Taste of History and Revival

Each bottle represents either the enduring legacy of Italy's classical varieties or the triumphant recovery of its viticultural heritage.

We're deeply committed to promoting the Italian wine culture!
