Falanghina Beneventano IGT- Villa Raiano
100% Falanghina
Crafted exclusively from Falanghina grapes, an indigenous variety with probable Greek origins, historically cultivated in the Campania region.
The vineyards sit at altitudes ranging from 350 to 450 meters above sea level, on soils composed of calcareous clay, marl, sand, and silt—conditions that lend the wine its distinctive minerality and freshness.
Bright straw yellow, with an aromatic profile featuring citrus notes (like lime and grapefruit), tropical fruits (pineapple and white peach), and hints of wild herbs or marine nuances. On the palate, it’s crisp, dry, and well-balanced, offering a lively acidity, subtle minerality, and a savory, persistent finish.
Villa Raiano’s Falanghina Beneventano IGT reflects the winery’s commitment to showcasing Campania’s terroir and the Falanghina grape’s potential—fresh, expressive, and rooted in tradition yet approachable for modern palates.
Pair with: Mediterranean dishes like grilled fish, seafood salads, vegetable tarts, or light pasta dishes such as spaghetti alle vongole. It also shines as an aperitif, best served chilled at 8-12°C (46-54°F).
