100% Greco

A distinguished white wine produced by the Villa Raiano winery, located in the Campania region of southern Italy. This wine is made from 100% Greco grapes, a variety believed to have originated in Greece and now celebrated as one of Italy’s finest white grape varietals.

The wine is a fresh yet complex expression of Fiano. Bright straw yellow with subtle greenish hues. On the nose, it offers a delicate floral bouquet—think glicine (wisteria) or elderflower—mingled with lifted citrus (grapefruit, lemon), ripe stone fruits (peach, pear, or yellow plum), and a touch of minerality or herbaceous notes like mint or sage. The palate is ripe and textural, balancing juicy fruit with a taut acidity and a mineral backbone. A signature bitter lemon or almond edge often emerges, alongside a lightly saline finish, giving it a savory depth that sets it apart from more neutral whites. 

Pair with:  Seafood (think roasted shellfish or fish with citrus), vegetable dishes, sushi, or even richer fare like porcini mushroom lasagna, thanks to its texture and acidity.
